Tenant Information

As a resident of a house or apartment owned or managed by AHA, you have certain obligations and responsibilities as a tenant. The following information will help you to fulfill those responsibilities and maintain your tenancy in good standing.

Who to Contact at AHA

If you have a problem or issue about your housing, please talk to one of the people who is directly responsible for managing your building. Find your building or community on the Contacts page and call one of the staff members listed there.

Work Orders

Maintenance work is completed on the properties own by Ashland Housing Authority by Maintenance workers who are dispatched from regional or site-based Maintenance Facilities and can be generated by Residents, Ashland Housing Authority Inspectors or Management Staff.

Annual Inspections

The Housing Quality Standards (HQS) unit of the Ashland Housing Authority conducts all LIPH, SSHP, inspections, which also include the Scattered-Site properties. more

Family or Income Changes

If changes occur in the people living with you, or your income changes, please notify the management team at the building you live. This page will also inform you on what to bring to your review appointment.

Accommodation and Disability Issues

AHA will provide reasonable accommodation upon request to ensure that no otherwise qualified individual with a disability is excluded from the participation in, denied the benefit of, or subject to discrimination under any AHA program.
